SAMETEAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms apply to the SameTeam web platform, the legacy SameTeam App, and related services.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SameTeam’s services.

By using SameTeam, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

  1. ABOUT SAMETEAM

SameTeam, LLC (“SameTeam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools for organizing events, collecting responses, managing signups, and coordinating groups.

Our primary Service is:

  • SameTeam — a browser-based event planning, RSVP, and signup platform

We may also offer related services, including:

  • SameTeam App — a separate legacy mobile communication and group coordination application
  • Related websites and services

The SameTeam web platform and the SameTeam App are separate Services that may differ in functionality, pricing, and available features.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

You must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes

You are responsible for your account and activity.

  1. ACCOUNTS

To use certain features, you may create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us of unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

  1. SAMETEAM WEB PLATFORM

SameTeam is a subscription-based service for event organizers.

Plans

  • Paid plans may be offered on a monthly or annual basis.
  • Paid plans currently include unlimited event creation and unlimited participants during an active subscription, subject to these Terms and any reasonable technical, security, or acceptable-use limitations.
  • Features and pricing may vary by subscription tier and are described on the applicable pricing or subscription page at the time of purchase.
  • Certain features may be available only on specific subscription tiers.

Free Event

  • Eligible new organizers may create one event at no charge with access to available event features.
  • After the free event has been used, a paid subscription may be required to create additional events.
  • Free-event eligibility is determined by SameTeam and may be limited to one free event per organizer or account.

Participants

  • Guests and participants generally do not need to create accounts to respond to events, sign up for items or roles, or review or update their event information.
  • Organizers are responsible for creating, managing, and appropriately sharing their event links.
  • Participants may receive a personal event link that allows them to review or update information associated with their response or signup, subject to event settings and deadlines.
  1. BILLING & PAYMENTS

SameTeam Web Platform

  • Payments for SameTeam subscriptions are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we may make available.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the applicable monthly or annual interval unless canceled before renewal.
  • By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges based on your selected plan and billing interval.
  • Prices and plan features are those presented at the time of purchase and may be changed for future subscription periods as permitted by law.

SameTeam App

  • Purchases made through the SameTeam App may be processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or other payment providers, depending on platform requirements.

We do not store full payment card details.

  1. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

  • Paid access generally continues until the end of the current paid subscription period.
  • You will not be charged for a new subscription period after your cancellation becomes effective.
  • Cancellation does not result in a refund for the current subscription period.
  • No refunds or credits are provided for unused time or partially used subscription periods unless required by law.

After paid subscription access ends, you may be unable to create additional events or use features that require an active subscription. Access to existing events and features may be subject to the functionality and limitations then available through SameTeam.

  1. EVENTS, RESPONSES, SIGNUPS & REMINDERS

SameTeam allows organizers to create events and collect responses, signups, and related event information.

You understand that:

  • Event organizers control event settings, event content, and participant communications initiated through their events.
  • Participants may provide names, email addresses, RSVP responses, signup selections, notes, party size, and related event information.
  • Event links may be shared with others or publicly through unique URLs at the organizer’s discretion.
  • SameTeam does not verify participant identities.

Event Reminders

  • Organizers may use available SameTeam features to send event-related reminders to participants who have already provided an email address through an RSVP or signup.
  • Reminder emails may include event details and a participant’s personal event link so the participant can review or update their response or signup information.
  • SameTeam cannot send organizer-initiated reminders to individuals who have not provided an email address through the event.
  • Organizers are responsible for using participant information and communication features appropriately and in accordance with applicable law.

SameTeam does not guarantee attendance, participation, volunteer fulfillment, delivery or receipt of communications, or event outcomes.

  1. USER CONTENT

You may create or share content (“Content”), including:

  • Event details
  • Responses and signup information
  • Messages
  • Images or files, where supported

You agree that your Content:

  • Does not violate any law or regulation
  • Does not infringe the rights of others
  • Is not abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading

You are responsible for Content you submit or make available through the Services. We may remove Content that violates these Terms.

  1. CONTENT LICENSE

You retain ownership of your Content.

You grant SameTeam a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, transmit, and process your Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, provide, secure, and improve the Services.

We do not use private event content for advertising purposes.

  1. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for illegal activity
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or other abusive communications through the Services
  • Upload malicious software or code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Services

Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account or access to the Services.

  1. PRIVACY

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We rely on third-party providers, including:

  • Payment processors such as Stripe
  • Apple and Google for app distribution and applicable payment processing
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Email delivery providers
  • Analytics and other service providers

We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, acts, omissions, or availability.

Third-party providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies when applicable.

  1. SERVICE AVAILABILITY & CHANGES

We strive to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Continuous access to any feature
  • Delivery of every email, notification, or other communication

We may add, modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace features or Services from time to time. We may also make changes necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, or the continued operation of the Services.

  1. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Abuse the platform or communication features
  • Engage in harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful activity
  • Create a security or operational risk to the Services or other users

You may stop using the Services at any time.

  1. DISCLAIMERS

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy of user-submitted content
  • Event outcomes or attendance
  • Participant behavior
  • Delivery or receipt of emails, reminders, notifications, or other communications
  • Availability of any specific feature
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SameTeam shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of business, revenue, profits, or opportunities
  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

  1. ASSIGNMENT

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets or the assets relating to a particular Service.

These Terms will remain binding upon and inure to the benefit of the successor entity.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of material changes. Continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
