SameTeam Web Platform

SameTeam is a browser-based platform that allows organizers to create events, collect RSVPs, manage signups, send event-related reminders, and share events using unique links.

When using SameTeam, we may collect and process:

  • Organizer account information
  • Event information created by organizers
  • Participant names and email addresses
  • Participant RSVP information
  • Participant signup selections
  • Party size, where applicable
  • Optional notes submitted by participants
  • Images or other event content uploaded by organizers, where supported
  • Customer support requests and communications

Participant Information and Personal Event Links

Participants generally do not need to create a SameTeam account to RSVP or sign up for an event.

When a participant provides information through an event, that information may be associated with the applicable event and made available to the event organizer for purposes such as managing RSVPs, signups, attendance, and event coordination.

SameTeam may provide participants with a unique personal event link that allows them to review or update their RSVP, signup selections, or other event information, subject to event settings and deadlines.

Participants are responsible for keeping personal event links private. Anyone with access to a personal event link may potentially be able to access the information available through that link.

Public Event Links and Event Hubs

Organizers may share events through unique event links and, where available, may use an Event Hub to make selected events available together through a shared page.

Public event pages and Event Hubs may:

  • Display event information provided by the organizer
  • Provide links to individual events selected by the organizer
  • Do not publicly display participant email addresses
  • May display limited participant or signup information where supported by the Service and applicable event settings

Organizers are responsible for deciding which events they make available through public event links or Event Hubs and where and with whom they share those links.

Payment Information

We do not store full payment card details.

SameTeam Web Platform

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we may make available.

We may receive limited payment and subscription information such as:

  • Subscription status
  • Selected plan and billing interval
  • Billing status
  • Transaction confirmation
  • Payment-related identifiers provided by our payment processor

SameTeam App

Purchases may be processed by:

  • Apple
  • Google
  • Stripe
  • Other authorized payment providers

Participant email addresses are not displayed publicly on public event pages.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Services, including:

  • Hosting providers
  • Email delivery providers
  • Analytics providers
  • Customer support providers
  • Infrastructure providers
  • Security and fraud-prevention providers

These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services to us.

Payment Providers

SameTeam may send transactional and service-related emails in connection with use of the Services. These may include:

  • Event reminders initiated by an organizer

  • Other operational or security-related communications

Organizer-initiated event reminders are sent only to participants for whom SameTeam has an email address associated with an RSVP or signup for the applicable event.

We may use third-party email delivery providers to send these communications.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • Provide and maintain the Services
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Event organizers should not use the Services to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization or consent where required by law.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

Because there is no consistent industry standard for recognizing Do-Not-Track browser signals, we do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track signals.

SameTeam does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

SameTeam is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
