These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SameTeam’s services.
By using SameTeam, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
- ABOUT SAMETEAM
SameTeam (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools for organizing events, collecting responses, managing signups, and coordinating groups.
Our primary Service is:
- SameTeam — a browser-based event planning and signup platform
We may also offer related services, including:
- SameTeam App (legacy mobile application)
• Related websites and services
Some features, functionality, and pricing may differ between Services.
- ELIGIBILITY
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old
• Use the Services only for lawful purposes
You are responsible for your account and activity.
- ACCOUNTS
To use certain features, you may create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
• Keep your login secure
• Notify us of unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
- SAMETEAM (SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE)
SameTeam is a subscription-based service for organizers.
Plans
- Plans include limits on the number of events that may be created during a billing period.
• Event limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.
• Unused event allowances do not roll over.
Free Event
- New organizers may create one event at no charge with access to available features.
• After the free event has been used, a paid subscription may be required to create additional events.
Participants
- Guests and participants generally do not need to create accounts to respond to events, sign up for items, or update their responses.
• Organizers are responsible for managing and sharing event links.
- BILLING & PAYMENTS
SameTeam
- Payments for SameTeam subscriptions are processed by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
• By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges based on your selected plan.
SameTeam App
- Purchases made through the SameTeam App may be processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or other payment providers, depending on platform requirements.
We do not store full payment card details.
- CANCELLATION
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• You will not be charged again after cancellation.
• No refunds are provided for unused time or partially used billing periods unless required by law.
After cancellation:
- You may lose access to create new events.
• Existing events may become read-only or subject to plan limitations.
- EVENTS, RESPONSES & SIGNUPS
SameTeam allows organizers to create events and collect responses, signups, and related event information.
You understand that:
- Event organizers control event settings and participant communications.
• Participants may provide names, email addresses, responses, signup selections, notes, and related information.
• Event links may be shared publicly through unique URLs.
• SameTeam does not verify participant identities.
SameTeam does not guarantee attendance, participation, volunteer fulfillment, or event outcomes.
- USER CONTENT
You may create or share content (“Content”), including:
- Event details
• Responses and signup information
• Messages
• Images or files (where supported)
You agree that your Content:
- Does not violate any law or regulation
• Does not infringe the rights of others
• Is not abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading
We may remove content that violates these Terms.
- CONTENT LICENSE
You retain ownership of your Content.
You grant SameTeam a limited, non-exclusive license to:
- Host
• Store
• Display
• Process
your Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Services.
We do not use private event content for advertising purposes.
- ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services for illegal activity
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Upload malicious software or code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Interfere with the operation of the Services
Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.
- PRIVACY
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We rely on third-party providers, including:
- Stripe (payments)
• Apple and Google (app stores and payment processing)
• Hosting providers
• Email providers
• Analytics and infrastructure providers
We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, or availability.
- SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We strive to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability
• Error-free operation
• Continuous access to any feature
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
- TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you:
- Violate these Terms
• Abuse the platform
• Engage in harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful activity
You may stop using the Services at any time.
- DISCLAIMERS
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees regarding:
- Accuracy of user-submitted content
• Event outcomes or attendance
• Participant behavior
• Availability of any specific feature
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SameTeam shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
• Incidental damages
• Consequential damages
• Loss of data
• Loss of business, revenue, profits, or opportunities
- GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
